In knowing which expressions of love fill our heart the most, we can develop stronger, more meaningful connections with partners, friends, family \u2013 even ourselves.<br \/><br \/>That\u2019s where the five love languages come in. They were first articulated by counsellor Gary Chapman in 1992, after he noticed that people weren\u2019t feeling loved by their partners \u2013 even though those partners thought they were showing love.<br \/><br \/>The problem wasn\u2019t a lack of love, but a lack of communication and understanding. After investigating further, Chapman uncovered five key patterns \u2013 or languages \u2013 that people said made them feel the most loved.<br \/><br \/>And the world\u2019s been speaking love
